Alexis Cortez
just a little bit about me.

I started my career at CBRE as a graphic design intern, developing materials for Motorola Solutions.
Then, I moved on to the Arizona State Exposition and Fair as a graphic design intern, designing a new type of fair experience during COVID-19.
I've been working at Sites USA for the last three years, first as a graphic designer and eventually as a UX/UI designer for our commercial real estate software - REGIS Online!
I was one of the lucky 45 students to pass The Milestone into the Visual Communication Design program at Arizona State University's Herberger Art and Design School. I eventually graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Design in Graphic Design.
After a year away, I applied to the User Experience program at Arizona State University's Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering and recently completed my Master's in User Experience with Distinction. Go Sun Devils!

The Bookworm
I can spend hours reading a good book!
I've always been an avid reader, and grew up powering through libraries worth of books. I read 97 books in 2023 and 100 in 2024!
The Athlete
I ran cross country and track for 6 years!
I was never "the best" but I still love running! I try to fit at least a 30 minute work out in everyday, from hiking to weightlifting or going to the gym.
The Chef
I love cooking and baking!
I'm famous for my homemade brownies, but I also love baking and testing new recipes. I've recently gotten into meal prepping too!
The Disk Jockey
I am almost constantly listening to music!
I might be the least musically-talented person on the planet, but I still love listening to music. I'm a Spotify girlie, but you do you.
